Daniels did manage to keep his
16-race strong podium streak
intact by finishing third. He also
continues to lead the Mission AFT
SuperTwins title chase but only
just, 62 points to Bauman's 61.
"Such an odd main event for
me," Daniels said. "The begin
-
ning of the day, the track was
quite a bit different than in years
past. They resurfaced it, but
also, we've had a brand-new
Dunlop tire we've kind of had
to react to a little differently in
some of these tracks. But you
know, a good night. It's a bit of a
bummer [to not win at] Yamaha's
hometown. I wish I could have
won for them, but third will have
to do tonight."
Fisher finished a close fourth,
with Vanderkooi rounding out
the top five.
Sixth was taken by American
Honda/Turner Racing-backed
Trent Lowe on the impressively
competitive Honda Transalp.
He was followed home by Ott,
Dan Bromley on the Memphis
Shades/Corbin/Vinson Suzuki
GSX-8S, back-of-the-grid-start

Daniels, and to an eerie degree.
That's mostly a great thing—
multiple race wins, repeated

Brandon Robinson nearly
had the honor of giving the
XG750R its first win but
settled for a solid second.
After winning the opening two rounds
of the season at Daytona, Dallas
Daniels (32) was the favorite to win,
but it wasn't his night. However, his
podium streak is still alive.
