happy to do it for the team."
Deegan crossed the line third
after crashing on the opening
lap. In his bright "jailbird orange"
jumpsuit, the red-plate holder
openly said he missed the bike
setup going into the main.
"I realized in the first rhythm
and said, 'Damn, I'm way too
some things that were able to
make a difference, and tonight,
everything was clicking. I like
racing a lot more, and once the
gate drops for the main event, I
am a different guy. It was nice
to get the monkey off my back
and finally get a podium again.

Davies opted to blitz the
whoops on the opening laps,
which instantly gave him an
advantage over the rest of the
field. After a quick battle with
Beaumer, Davies set sail and led
all but one lap en route to his
first career victory. He's now one
of two New Zealanders to win
a Supercross main event and is
currently third in points, 20 back
from Deegan.

Garrett Marchbanks achieved
his best result of the year, finish

Circuit
Kawasaki rider found
himself in a battle for nearly the
entire race as he competed with
Beaumer for a podium spot. The
two battled for three-quarters
of the main event, with March-
banks finally gaining the advan-
tage with just five laps to go.
After missing round
three due to
a shoulder injury, Marchbanks
has certainly bounced back well.
He is currently tied for sixth in
points.
"Broc [Tickle] and I started
working on some other things
on the bike to help me with
technique and sprint work," said
Marchbanks. "This is the best
two weeks I've felt health-wise,
and on the bike, I am nearly at
100 percent. I feel like I found
