RIDE REVIEW I 2025 YAMAHA YZF-R9
The first test was
good, but we can't
wait to get this bike
on track in the dry!
The riding position helps here. With
Yamaha placing the handlebars 8mm
higher and 10mm forward, it helps you
get the weight over the front wheel easier
and more comfortably so it's repeatable.
Load that (wet) front tire up on the
entry to turn four at Sonoma and let the
chassis take care of the rest.
(Left) The winglets are quite pronounced
but don't look too gaudy. (Right) The five-inch
dash should be familiar to anyone who's
ridden an MT-09 in recent years.
