Chicken Caught
In 1990, Jeff "Chicken" Matiasevich
entered the Oklahoma City Supercross
at State Fair Speedway with the points
lead. Competing in blazing heat on a hard-
packed track, Chicken finished fourth,
relinquishing the championship lead he
had maintained since round four to the
winner, Jeff Stanton, who ultimately took
the title just two races later.
