poor start, which nearly resulted
in a full-on crash, put him fifth
finishes. The Rockstar Energy
Husqvarna fired off a convincing
win in the opening main event
and looked to be the man to
beat. A second in race two still
best finish of the night and took
second, while RJ Hampshire
experienced his worst finish of
the night in fifth. At the end of
the three races, Thrasher and
Hampshire were tied on points,
but with the better placing in
the final and tie-breaking race,
Thrasher earned the overall vic
-
tory despite not winning a main.
"I
feel like this is the most sol-
id I've ever been," Thrasher said.
"I
didn't make many mistakes
tonight and was pretty locked in.
I was just steady in every main
event, and normally I have some
moments, but this year just
hasn't been like that."
Hampshire still held on
for second overall with 1-2-5
