Davide Tardozzi thinks it's a good
idea, they aren't keen to agree to
it this season. "I think it could be a
good idea for the future," Tardozzi
said. "I think we faced the same
problem with [Enea] Bastianini [in
2023]. But nobody gave us the op-
portunity to make a test, so I think
it's a good opportunity to change
the rules for next year. I think
[Aprilia] has a very competitive
road bike. This bike will be good
to have Jorge on a test to see if
it's possible to ride a MotoGP bike
(or not). I don't think Jorge needs
a MotoGP test. When he's recov-
ered, he will be one of our con-
tenders. He'll be one of the guys
that will fight with us for victories."
Briefly...
(Above) It was a very welcome return to form for Franco
Morbidelli (21), who took his first podium in 1441 days. (Below)
Honda had its best Sunday in years, with Joan Mir (36) and
Luca Marini (10) taking ninth and 10th, respectively.
