Herfoss had crashed on Fri-
day while closing in on Wyman
but
managed to remount and
salvage valuable points with an
eighth-place finish.

Challenge race. His Saturday af-
ternoon triumph in the final race

the MotoAmerica weekend
marked his fifth consecutive
victory at the "World Center of
Racing."
Unlike Friday's runaway win,
Saturday's race was a hard-fought
plan was just to be patient until
