BY RENNIE SCAYSBROOK PHOTOGRAPHY BY BRIAN J. NELSON J osh Herrin's career has been one of two halves. Ditched by the factory- backed Yamaha team at the end of 2021, Herrin's career was on life support before getting the call to head Ducati's supersport program in 2022. Little did he know this would signal the beginning of the second half of his illustrious career, one that would see the now Californian emerge from the wilderness to claim the 2022 MotoAmerica Supersport Cham - pionship, the 2024 MotoAmerica Superbike Championship, and, after this past weekend, three straight Daytona 200 victories to elevate him into the World Center of Racing's pantheon alongside fellow four-time win - ner Danny Eslick and five-time winners Miguel Duhamel and Scott Russell. Herrin's win in the 2025 Day- tona 200 marks the first time in the race's history that a rider has won three in a row. He did it not by the ease of his 2023 victory but by playing the waiting game, ensuring he was in the right place at the right time over the race's 57 laps to jam the knife into his opponents when they could no longer retaliate. DAYTONA 200 / MARCH 5-7, 2025 DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY / DAYTONA BEACH, FLORIDA ROAD RACE I MOTOAMERICA NORTH AMERICAN ROAD RACING CHAMPIONSHIP P84 Josh Herrin charges over the line for the 2025 win, his fourth at Daytona to tie with Danny Eslick on the all-time winners list.
