matched the leader's lap times for the duration of the race. More importantly, he beat the other East Coast championship contenders—RJ Hampshire and Max Anstie—to the line. Back- to-back second-place finishes reward Vialle with the red plate. He now leads the East points by just one point over Anstie. "I started slow in Tampa and Detroit, then Daytona was a good turning point last week - end," said Vialle. "I got close to the win and then the same this weekend. I spent the main event behind Seth, and I was trying to catch him, but he was riding good. The track was very tricky tonight, so I am pretty happy with second, and we're right in the championship, which is where we want to be." Haiden Deegan finished third, making him the highest-scoring West Coast rider on the night. Deegan ran up front from the start and looked to be within striking distance of Vialle before a major mistake shot him off the track. "In the main event, I got to third place pretty quickly," Deegan said. "I was reeling in those guys at the front and then made a pretty crucial mistake where I ended up going over the berm and into the net." From there, the West Coast points leader controlled things for a smart third-place result. His nearest competition was teammate Cole Davies, who finished fifth, with championship rival Julien Beaumer cross - ing the line in eighth. Deegan scored good points on his West long it's been." Tom Vialle matched his season-best result with another second-place finish in Indy. The current 1E plate holder made it an East Coast 1-2 as he slot- ted into second early on behind Hammaker. With the rutted race surface playing a factor, Vialle kept things consistent and the podium," Hammaker said. "A third at Daytona was a good confidence boost and to get the momentum rolling. I felt like the win was coming, but I didn't know how soon. It's been so long since I had my first win, and that was my third race ever that I won. This one kind of feels like my first one, just with how ROUND 9 / MARCH 8, 2025 LUCAS OIL STADIUM / INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA SUPERCROSS I MONSTER ENERGY AMA SUPERCROSS / SUPERMOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP P76 Seth Hammaker won the 250SX Showdown, his first win in nearly four years.
