Xtrem skid plates with integrated
linkage protection from AXP Racing
are now available for 2025 Kawasaki
KX250/KX250X models. Made from
8mm-thick HDPE, the Xtrem skid plate
offers coverage from the frame to
the footpegs. It protects the engine
cases, the water pump on the front
and side, and it is thicker at the rear
for protecting the linkage. Compared
to its metal counterparts, it is lighter in
weight (3.2 pounds) and returns to its
original shape after impacts. The HDPE
won't generate vibrations, and it is
designed to glide over obstacles.

The all-new Composite front chain slider from TM Designworks—now
available to fit most 2023-25 KTM/GasGas/Husqvarna models—is
constructed from the company's Baja Endurance Composite material that
lasts up to three times longer than stock. Each slider is oil-impregnated
to lower surface drag, and it is UV protected to prevent the color from
fading. Patent-pending custom rubber impact-absorbing strips are
bonded to keep chain slap noise substantially reduced, and its raised
chain backing plate keeps the drive train at maximum power.
