into second as Agius lost ground and was handed a long-lap pen- alty for the infringement. Gonzalez and Canet remained unchallenged in the closing laps, while Agius fought back. Diogo Moreira (Italtrans Racing Team) briefly took third, but Agius reclaimed the spot in a thrilling duel, with the pair swapping posi - tions five times on lap 21. Agius ultimately secured third by just 0.251 of a second over Moreira. Marcos Ramirez (OnlyFans American Racing Team) finished fifth, holding off Barry Baltus (Fantic Racing Lino Sonego) and Jake Dixon (Elf Marc VDS Rac - ing Team), the latter emerging as the top Boscoscuro rider. and the first Moto2 victory of the season. Aron Canet (Fantic Racing Lino Sonego) claimed second, while Senna Agius made it two Intact GP riders on the podium despite serving a long-lap penalty for a collision with Celestino Vietti (Team HDR Heidrun).
