We tested the new Montesa Cota 247T o-roader in our 32-page
issue number seven 50 years ago. The 247T was a cross between a
trail bike and a trials bike that leaned far to the trials side. We called it
an impressive, handsome, unflappable and very usable motorcycle...
We also featured an interview with Chuck Wells, who worked for the
Idaho State Department of Parks and Recreation. Wells was a desert
and cross-country racer who had big plans for Idaho's o-road
program.
