Bolt Wins Again In Budapest
B
illy Bolt of Husqvarna Fac-
tory Racing has achieved five
consecutive victories in the 2025
FIM SuperEnduro World Champi-
onship by claiming a hard-fought
overall win in Budapest, Hungary,
February 8.
With the track inside the MVM
Dome being one of the shortest
of the season so far, qualifying
times were extremely close. Bolt
recorded the fourth-quickest
time, slightly more than a quar
-
ter of a second behind the two
fastest riders, Jonny Walker and
Mitch Brightmore, who posted
nearly identical times down to
the thousandth of a second, at
31.404. Based on regulations,
the second-best time became
the deciding factor, favoring
Mitch Brightmore, who earned
the final SuperPole run.
In SuperPole, the top three
finished within half a second
of each other. Walker set the
fastest time at 31.721 seconds,
narrowly edging out Bolt, who
clocked in at 32.154 seconds.
Brightmore secured third with a
time of 32.216.
After getting off the gate well
in race one, Bolt took an inside
line through the first corner,
securing the holeshot. From
there, the Brit remained focused,
avoided lapped traffic, and kept
up a strong pace all the way to
the checkered flag to claim the
victory.
Setting off from the second
row in the reverse-grid race two,
William Hoare took the holeshot,
as Bolt got stuck in the rock sec

tion. Walker, on the other hand,
had a near-flawless race, deliver-
ing Triumph its first-ever Super-
Enduro race win. Bolt recovered
for second, and Hoare held on
for third.
In a dramatic start to the
third race, Walker crashed when
entering the first turn, opening
the door for Bolt, who moved
