We interviewed road racer Rudy Galindo. We showed you some of
the latest trends in motocross rear suspensions, experimenting
with mounting positions of the shocks, such as cantilever (angled)
and bottom-mount-forward... We tested the 250cc Maico Enduro,
which featured an upswept exhaust pipe.

LOOKING BACK I
Our Suzuki GSX-R750 test bike was pictured in action in Japan on
the cover 40 years ago... We had coverage of the Houston TT. It
was a battle of Scotts for the win, with Scott Parker coming out on
top ahead of Scott Pearson. Winkie Freitas won the 12-lap Junior
National. The Houston Short Track was held the next day. Randy
Goss took the win, which was his 15th career National victory... Ron
Lechien won the Seattle Supercross doubleheader.
