Lawrence is still credited with eighth overall, going 2-2-21 on the night and is fifth in points. Hunter Lawrence earned another fifth-place finish and posted his best result [fourth] of the night in the final main. Justin Hill, Jason Anderson, Jett "Super bummed how last night ended," Lawrence said. "Just dabbed my leg and felt a lot of pain in my knee. I'm get- ting an MRI tomorrow [Monday] morning, so hopefully we will know more by the end of tomor- row." his explosive opening laps to gap the field and take the win. The real excitement came in race three when Roczen got off to a poor start and needed every po- sition to take an overall podium. A pass on Justin Barcia with two laps to go bumped him to third on the night despite Tomac winning the final main event. Roczen's 4-1-7 put him third but dropped him out of the points lead, two back from Sexton. "I did know that I had to get Barcia for the podium," Roczen said. "I kept messing up the rhythm in the middle of the track. So, I would yo-yo with Justin, and honestly almost didn't think I was going to get him, but then with two laps to go, I just left it all out there and absolutely went for it." Tomac won the final race of the night, but poor starts in the first two races resulted in 6-4-1 results for fourth overall. "My riding's just fine, but I've got to fix these starts," Tomac said. "The first two were a total disaster, basically last again. That's three in a row there being in dead last, but hopefully that's it. I think I got some things fig - ured out in that third [start], and hopefully we'll carry that to next weekend." Arguably the biggest story of the night was Lawrence, the defending champ, pulling out of the last race after Honda HRC Progressive rider dabbed his right foot heading into the sec - ond turn. He quickly exited the track, favoring his leg, and rode straight to the Alpinestars Mobile Medical facility.
