The Place To Race
From the 1950s through the 1980s, if
you wanted to make a name for yourself
in motorcycle racing, Ascot Park, aka
Los Angeles Speedway, was the place
to race. The legendary track, which
shut down in 1990, was conveniently
located in Gardena, California, and was
remembered at this year's Hot Shoe
Hall of Fame in Las Vegas.
