T
he Triple Crown means three starts, three finishes, and three
times the excitement. Round four of the Monster Energy AMA
Supercross series in Glendale, Arizona, played host to the first
of three Triple Crown races of the year. The hard-packed Arizona dirt
also marked the last West Coast round for a while before the series
heads to Tampa, Florida, which will also kick off the Eastern Regional
Championship for the 250s. As the series hit its stride, all the riders
looked hungry to solidify their place in the pecking order. After five
different riders claimed six wins on the night, KTM's Chase Sexton
topped the 450SX results with 3-3-2 scores and Jordon Smith earned
Triumph's first ever 250SX win with 2-3-1 finishes.
