just praying," Davies said. "I saw
him [Smith] down, and I was like,
'Yes!' I'm glad he's all right, but
yeah it was good."

has run up front in the first three
rounds. After starting seventh,
fastest lap in qualifying, Beau-
mer seemed to be off the pace
during
the main.
"I struggled quite a bit in
the whoops all day," Beaumer
said. "We made a change after
the first qualifying session,
and I thought it helped, but the
whoops broke down a little bit
differently than I thought in the
main, and I struggled for sure."
As he dealt with the less-
than-ideal bike setup, Beaumer
backed things down while run

ning in second place. Pressure
from
Jordon Smith came on late
in the race, but Beaumer stayed
vigilant and never cracked.
