Garmin has released its first purpose-built radar system for
motorcycles for rearview and blind-spot monitoring. The
device features two side-facing amber lights and an optional
rear-facing red light that can help maximize visibility to
nearby vehicles, while indicator lights on the handlebars
provide riders with awareness of approaching vehicles. The
device can send audio alerts when paired with a compatible
headset or with the zumo XT2 motorcycle navigator (sold
separately). The device hard wires to the bike's electrical
system (no batteries or charging required), and it discreetly
mounts above or below the license plate.
