Brabec has managed to regroup,
and in his never-say-die attitude,
the American took the Stage Six
win and another top five in fourth
on Stage Eight, ensuring he's
cemented in the top five overall in
fifth, but still with a half-hour gap to
Sanders in the overall.
"Today we started a bit in the
back of Rally GP in the hopes to
make a big push and claw back
[time] in the overall," Brabec said
after Stage Eight. "[I] managed a
good day but still wasn't able to get
much time back. Overall, I'm happy
with the days and the riding, happy
with myself but bummed on the
outcome from the first week. It's
been tough, not understanding half
of what's going on here. Just a few
days left and anything can happen."
It's been a similar story for
Brabec's teammate and American
compatriot Skyler Howes. Like
Brabec, Howes made a massive
navigational error on Stage Four,
which dropped him out of conten

Utah resident has finished every
stage in the top 10 since Stage
Four, ensuring he has locked down
sixth in the overall standings as

on January 13.
