Simmons Promoted to
Monster Energy Yamaha Star
Racing 450 Team Manager
R
ich Simmons is the new team manager for the Monster
Energy Star Racing Yamaha 450 Team. The team's former
crew chief enters his fourth season with the Star Racing pro-
gram. Jordan Troxell joins the team to fill the crew chief role.
"I've been with the team for three seasons as the crew
chief, and I enjoyed that," said Simmons. "I'm honored that
Brad gave me the opportunity to step up into this role as the
team manager. It's a new challenge, but I'm looking forward to it. I've worked with Jor-
dan in the past, so when looking for somebody to move into my role that would fit the
team really well, he's the first one that came to mind. I really trust his work and know
his work ethic, and I think he's a great asset to the team."
"Simmons presented me with a great opportunity that I had to really consider and
couldn't turn down," said Troxell. "It's one of the best teams in the paddock, with some
of the best riders on the track, and I know these boys pretty well. I'm just excited to
bring my work ethic over here and to try and add to the program."
