Our featured test bike 50 years ago was the new Yamaha DT400B
dual-purpose bike, which was pictured on the cover... We also tested
the Honda CR125M1 motocrosser and Honda XL125K1 trail bike,
which were compared in the same article... We took an inside look at
the revolution of the new gas/oil suspension system. "Some," we
said, "are available to make your bike handle like a GP machine."... The
first ATA trials meet of the year took place in Acton, California. Mike
Gri•tths took the win.

CMC/Skoal Bandit Golden State MX Nationals and 250cc-class
