Bolt Tops FIM SuperEnduro Opener H usqvarna Factory Racing's Billy Bolt emerged as the overall winner at round one of the 2024-25 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship in Poland on December 14. He claimed the top spot in SuperPole and achieved two victories from three races held at the PreZero Arena in Gliwice, concluding the event with a four-point lead in the championship standings. Bolt kicked off his SuperEn - duro title defense strongly. After clocking the fastest qualifying time, the Brit secured a decisive victory in the SuperPole hot lap, earning his initial three champi - onship points of the season. Race one went perfectly for Bolt. The Brit took the holeshot from the left side of the gates and pulled a one-second lead by lap one. Bolt maintained his con- sistency, stretching his lead over second-placed Triumph's Jonny Walker to the checkered flag. In the reverse-grid race two, Bolt avoided trouble during the first half of lap one, gradually working his way through the field. By the end of the second lap, he moved up to second place and began to close in on the leader. A few minor mistakes and falls caused Bolt to lose time, and despite giving his all, he couldn't recover the posi - tions he lost. Crossing the line in fourth, Bolt secured 13 valuable championship points. Bolt's third race mirrored the first. After securing his second holeshot of the evening, Bolt ex- tended his lead all the way to the finish. His flawless performance earned him a second race win and the overall victory. "I've got to be happy to take the win here in Poland, especially in front of such a fantastic crowd, but it's definitely not all gone my own way," Bolt said. "SuperPole went well, and then going into race one, I felt good and was able to take the win. In race two, I took my time early on, but after that, I pushed too hard to get out front and made some mistakes. Com - ing off the side of the track didn't help, especially with how slippery the concrete is here in Poland, but thankfully, I was able to fight WIND IN THE P48 Reigning champ Billy Bolt (1) picked up where he left off by winning the opening round of the 2024-25 SuperEnduro Championship in Poland.
