Akrapovic has launched an all-new
protection-bar set for BMW R 1300 GS/R
1300 GS Adventure models. Created from
sandblasted titanium tubes and TIG-welded
carbon fiber, the lightweight left and right
protection bars protect the BMW's engine
from impacts. They are approximately 40
percent lighter than comparable stainless-
steel versions and are corrosion resistant.
Weighing just 6.6 pounds combined, the bars
offer the option to attach extra bags and
fog lights or spotlights from BMW and other
manufacturers to the set.

Xtrem skid plates from AXP Racing are now available
to fit 2023-24 Stark Varg models. The skid plate
is made from sturdy 8mm-thick HDPE plastic
and protects the electric motorcycle's battery
from impacts. Lighter in weight than comparable
aluminum skid plates, the 3.5-pound plastic unit
won't deform from hits and is designed to slide over
obstacles. The vented skid plate has wings to help
protect the footpegs, and optional case and linkage
protection can be added.
