MotoConcepts Sweeps at
Reno Arenacross
T
he first two rounds of the
2024-25 AMA Arenacross
series kicked in Reno, Nevada,
November 15-16. MotoConcepts
Honda riders Vince Friese and
Ryan Breece took the overall
wins. The series also debuted the
X-Pro class that has ICE and elec
-
tric bikes racing head-to-head.
Friese led Peters across the
finish line in the first AX Pro
race, with Yamaha rider Mi-
chael Hicks taking third. Breece
crashed out of contention and
was credited with 15th.
Friese and Peters again found
themselves up front in race two.
The two Honda riders traded
spots early in the race, with
Friese taking the lead for good
on lap three. Peters took second
and Breece third.
Breece turned the tables on
Friese on Saturday night. His 1-4
was enough to take the over
-
all win over Friese's 5-1. Third
overall was Yamaha rider Austin
Politelli who went 4-2 on the
night. Yamaha-mounted Michael
Hicks was fourth overall (3-5).
Peters had an off night with
crashes and was fifth overall,
going 6-3 on the night.
In the X-Pro class, Friese, Po

litelli, Josh Hill, Justin Bogle and
Hicks made up the top five on
Friday night. Bogle won on Sat
-
urday evening ahead of Breece,
Friese, Hill and Bitterman.

Bou Wins X-Trial Final
T
he 2024 X-Trial World Cham-
pionship concluded at the
Navarra Arena in Pamplona,
Spain, November 16. Toni Bou
was the winner, with his 100th
podium in the indoor discipline.
It was also the 36-time World
Champion's sixth of the year.
The Montesa Cota 4RT rider
dominated and led the way
in the first round of Saturday
night's competition. In the sec
-
ond round, he qualified for the
final as the pacesetter and, in
the last round, with five points to
his name, he took the win.
Sherco's Benoit Bincaz of
France outdueled GasGas Fac
-
tory Racing's Jaime Busto for
third. Bincaz edged out Busto by
just three marks.
Vertigo's Miquel Gelabert was
fourth and Sherco's Adam Raga
fifth.
Bou finished out the FIM X-
Trial World Championship with
128 points to Busto's 92.
Bou's Repsol Honda team-
mate took third in the cham-
pionship, followed by Benoit
and Great Britain's Toby Martyn
(Montesa). Raga was sixth.
