ROUND 5 / NOVEMBER 9, 2024 FIRST INTERSTATE BANK CENTER / REDMOND, OREGON OFF-ROAD I SLAVENS RACING AMA ENDUROCROSS SERIES, PRESENTED BY PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE P58 and Factory Beta's Max Gerston finished out the top five. By lap two, FactoryOne Sherco's Cody Webb had made his way into fourth in his first race back from surgery on his wrist and knee. Hart and Haaker pulled away from the field on the first lap in an exciting battle for the lead. Haaker made a pass on Hart to take the top position, only to bobble and hand it right back to the Canadian. Haaker finally made a pass stick with three laps to go and took control of the race, beating Hart to the claim a pair of podium finishes in the final two rounds to clinch the 2024 championship title. However, the defending champ did not play it safe and went all- out for the win. Haaker turned the fastest time during Hot Laps to claim the first pick on the gate for moto one, though it was Hart that exited the first turn with the lead, followed closely by Haaker. Factory Beta's Tim Apolle, Rieju's Dominik Olszowy Haaker turned the fastest time in qualifying, topped the Hot Lap time charts, and ap - peared at times to be the fastest rider through most of the night. But it was Hart's precise riding and determination that garnered the Canadian the victory, while Haaker suffered a couple of unfortunate mishaps in key mo - ments. Leading the points standings by 19 coming into the Redmond event, and with Triumph Fac - tory rider Jonny Walker having returned to the U.K. to race in Europe, Hart needed only to Colton Haaker started the evening off with a win.
