KTM Releases
New 990 RC R
Video
E
ICMA was the scene for
many a product unveiling in
2024, but the one many people
were waiting on was final techni-
cal details on KTM's long-await-
ed Supersport machine in the
990 RC R.
Did we get them? Kinda, sorta.
KTM hasn't released a full spec
sheet in the traditional sense,
so it's not possible for us to do
a proper deep-dive first look
(we're told we'll have to wait
until Spring 2025), but they have
released the third in the series of
development videos in which the
final product is revealed. Much
of the video is guided by Italian
Stefano Branca, KTM's Street
Product Manager, in which he
tells of the very first design
stages right through to the final
product.
It's a great video and one that
will give you lots of insight into
what will be the first full-size
KTM sportbike since the death
of the RC8 R a decade ago.
