M V Agusta's 2025 F3 Competizione is bringing the pre- mium bling to the supersport category for 2025. Limited to just 300 units worldwide, the F3 Competizione takes inspiration from the iconic F4 Claudio (named after former MV Agusta CEO Claudio Castiglioni). It sports a stunning satin black, silver, and gold color scheme with lashings of carbon fiber details for weight reduction. The F3 Competizione uses the company's tried and tested 798cc triple engine, and it now delivers a claimed mega 160 horsepower—12 horsepower up on the stan- dard F3 RR—and it drops 30 pounds through the use of lightweight components. This weight loss, thanks to materials like carbon fiber and titanium, allows the bike to reach a remarkable power- to-weight ratio of 0.9 hp/kg for the supersport class. The F3 Competizione offers a Track Mode configu- ration via a kit that includes an Akrapovic exhaust, a CNC-machined fuel cap, and a carbon rear seat cover, ensuring you've got every- thing you need and nothing you don't to go fast—save for slick tires. Suspension comes in the form of Ohlins 43mm NIX30 forks, TTX36 shock, and a 19-step steering damper. Fully adjustable and featur- ing a titanium coating on the stanchions, the Ohlins setup sheds 2.2 pounds compared to the standard model's sus- pension. Additionally, South African company BST lace the F3 Competizione with beauti- ful carbon fiber wheels that drops an extra 6.6 pounds of unsprung weight for improved agility and steer- ing responsiveness. Brembo Stylema calipers and 320mm front discs ensure you can slow down when needed. The F3 Competizione's electronic suite includes adjustable traction control, launch control, wheelie con- trol, and an adjustable ABS with Sport and Race modes. Race mode deactivates rear ABS and reduces interven- tion, ideal for track use, while Sport mode retains full ABS and cornering assistance for street riding. MV techs have even fitted a modified nine-disk slip clutch and have reduced lever pull by a claimed 50 percent, but you'll hardly use it anyway, given the up-and-down quickshifter attached to the gearbox. Aero is all-encompassing and includes a carbon front fender and forged carbon winglets providing down- force. A lithium battery also contributes to its weight- saving design. If you want one, you better be quick. They are expected in America in Q3 of 2025 with an MSRP of $33,998. CN VOLUME ISSUE NOVEMBER , P65 F3 COMPETIZIONE
