MW has come out swinging
in the superbike class for
2025 by releasing an updat-
ed version of the bike that won
its first WorldSBK Championship
this year in the hands of the uber-
talented Toprak Razgatlioglu.
The M 1000 RR has a new
look via yet more new winglets,
this time the BMW M Winglets
3.0 made by CFK, a new fairing,
wheel guard, and engine spoiler,
which is now made of plastic,

but the more interesting news
is the modified engine that was
already the most powerful on the
WorldSBK grid.
BMW engineers have graced
the M with a revised cylinder
head port design and combus
-
tion chamber, full-shaft titanium
valves with new tulip and seat ge-
ometry on the intake and exhaust
sides, and the engine now has a
new mount to the frame.
Compression has been
bumped substantially from 13.5:1
to 14.5:1, and throttle valves have
been bumped up from 48mm to
52mm, although claimed U.S.
peak power and torque remain at
205 horsepower at 13,000 rpm
and 83 lb-ft at 11,000 rpm.
