It marked the fifth WWT triumph for the U.S. Of the 124 Club teams, GTBN (Jaden Dahners, Layton Smail and Jhak Walker) were the best of the American trios. Third for much of the week, they powered to the second-best time of all teams in the final moto by less than five seconds, claiming second in the final standings be - hind the dominating Team Italy. France's Moto Club Puy en Velay settled for third, while another American team—XC Gear with Cooper Jones, Hunter Smith and Cole Whitmer—finished fourth. Other American Club teams included U.S. Sprint Enduro (An - thony Ferrante, Anson Maloney and Zach Toth) in eighth, Elizabeth Scott Community (Alex Dorsey, Lane Lorenzo and Ryder Thoma- selli) in ninth and 13th place Missouri Mudders (Eric Forsberg, Huck Jenkins and Eric Stevenson). Hough Legacy Racing was a distant 86th due to two issues; Tanner Whipple was the sole survivor who made it all six days. Trevor Maley went out on day three with a rear-wheel issue, though he could repair, re-im - stoked about it. I feel like I did well managing my race. Like the first day, I struggled a lot be- cause I didn't know what pace I needed to sprint at, and I actually had a bad crash in the third test. That kind of humbled me a little bit and helped me figure out the pace to go without crashing—go- ing fast enough to win but slow enough to not get hurt [in case she fell].
