Red Bull GasGas
Factory Racing,
Prado Part Ways
R
ed Bull GasGas Factory Racing and
four-time World Champion Jorge
Prado have officially parted company
after back-to-back MXGP titles in 2023
and 2024.
The Spanish rider originally signed
with the KTM Factory Racing effort
before racing the last three seasons
aboard the GasGas brand. Since join
-
ing the GasGas family in 2022, Prado
clinched two MXGP titles, 14 Grand Prix
wins, 33 moto victories and 42 podium finishes.
"Jorge has been with us since his early days in
motocross, starting with his incredible victory in
the 65cc World Championship in 2011, when he
became the youngest World Champion ever," said
Motorsports Director Pit Beirer. "We have watched
him grow from a promising young rider into a four-
time World Champion, securing his MX2 and MXGP
titles under the guidance of Claudio and Davide de
Carli, and his journey has been nothing short of re
-
markable. His relentless determination and natural
talent have always been clear. We are immensely
proud to have been part of his journey from his
early years to his world-class achievements."
Prado is expected to race in America full-time
starting next year.
