Arai's XD-5 dual sport helmet now comes in two new
graphics (red or blue) to match the Honda Africa Twin
bike. The XD-5 helmet recently received a new
VAS-A visor system, inspired by Arai's flagship
Corsair-X, with more surface area to glance off
impact energy and also to increase visibility. The
helmet's opening is now wider for easier on/off,
and the pinlock-ready faceshield can be swapped without
a tool. Both the faceshield and the peak are removeable
so the helmet can be configured for using goggles or for
better aerodynamics when riding on pavement.
