At the start, Ivan Ortola (MT
Helmets - MSI) grabbed the
holeshot, but David Munoz (BOE
Motorsports) quickly took the
lead. Australian hopeful Joel
Kelso (BOE Motorsports) joined
the early fight, but Stefano Nepa
(LevelUp – MTA) briefly held
first place before serving two
long-lap penalties.
A dramatic crash involving Or-
tola and Collin Veijer (Liqui Moly
Husqvarna
Intact GP) at turn
four saw those two out. Alonso,
on a harder rear tire, stretched
his lead to 1.7 seconds by the
final lap, a gap that became 2.9
seconds at the flag.
Nepa took fourth, with Munoz
