The new Hyde XT Drystar XF jacket and pants
from Alpinestars are designed for off-roading
and dual sporting. The jacket has a detachable
armored inner mesh liner that is designed
to keep the armor close to the rider's body.
Like the jacket, the over-the-boot pants
have a laminated Drystar XF (XF for extra
flow) waterproof and highly breathable
membrane. Both pieces have flexible,
breathable armor in addition to multiple
zippered pockets and vents.

Now in their second generation, Klim's
Badlands GTX gauntlet-style gloves have
improved tactile feel and dexterity for
better grip on the bars. The all-weather
adventure gloves have an updated, more
streamlined design that reduces bulk
in the palms, and Gore-Tex along with
Neoprene gaskets inside the gauntlets
protect the hands from the elements. Soft
fleece lines the goat-leather chassis, the
backhands have Thinsulate insulation, and
polycarbonate knuckle guards have XRD
impact-protection foam. The articulated
gloves are touchscreen conducive, and
they secure on with highly adjustable
closure straps at the wrists and forearms.
