Di Giannantonio (VR46 Ducati),
risking it all with Michelin's
soft, front and rear, was a real
nuisance for Bagnaia and Marc
Marquez in the fight for sixth.
Yet Acosta, the lone KTM in
a sea of Ducatis, came alive on
the fifth lap, breaking clear of
the chasing pack. And fastest
laps on laps 10 and 13 brought
him to within seven-tenths of a

OLIVEIRA SIDELINED
Miguel Oliveira suffered a big
highside exiting turn four mid-
way through Friday morning's
MotoGP FP1 session. He was
flown to the hospital, where it was
confirmed the Portuguese rider
had suffered multiple fractures to
the radius bone in his right arm.
Team Manager Wilco Zeelenberg
stated the crash stemmed from a
mechanic issue. "Unfortunately,
we had a technical issue and
Miguel crashed quite badly," said
the Dutchman.

race, Marc Marquez (93) saw his
title hopes go up in smoke when the
Ducati's engine caught fire.
