second. He again ran up front
in race two and didn't seem to
fade despite the track worsen-
ing. Shimoda and Vialle traded
HRC rider seemed to have some
intensity and led momentarily in
race one before giving the lead
back to Deegan and finishing
overall catapulted him to second
in the championship standings.
"The track was not easy, but
it was the same for everyone,"
said Vialle. "I was able to pass
Jo and Levi [Kitchen], and I knew
Haiden was maybe three or four
seconds [ahead]. I was catch
-
ing him a little bit, but I came
up a little short, maybe like two
or three seconds behind him.
It was nice to fight with him at
the same speed, but even if I
passed him, it wouldn't have
changed the overall."
Jo Shimoda showed more
consistency at Playoff number
two and scored two podiums
