Luca Cadalora won the U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca and was
pictured on the cover 30 years ago... Chris Carr won the Castle
Rock TT for the fifth consecutive time... Alan Cathcart rode Aaron
Slight's World Superbike Honda RC45. It was part one of a five-
bike series of World Superbike machinery he'd ridden from the 1994
Championship... We tested the 1995 Suzuki RM250 and the 1994
GasGas 250 Enducross TT... ATK revealed its first water-cooled
motocrosser, a 250cc and 260cc.
Ricky Carmichael completed his second perfect season in
motocross after winning both motos at Glen Helen Raceway
20 years ago and was pictured on the cover. RC had his first
perfect season in 2002. James Stewart won the 125cc
class... We covered the third round of the AMA Supermoto
Championship at the Music City Motorplex in Nashville,
Tennessee. Je‚ Ward won the Supermoto class and Jurgen
Kunzel the Unlimited class... Stefan Everts and Ben Townley
were crowned World Champions at the MXGP of Ireland.
