SMX fans in North Carolina got to witness
a long-awaited one-on-one duel for
the win between the youngster Jett
Lawrence (1) and the veteran Eli Tomac
(3) in the second moto. Lawrence passed
Tomac for the win in just his second race
(after the SMX first moto in which he got
second) after returning from injury.
