Oliveira Signs With Pramac Yamaha P ramac and Yamaha con- firmed that Miguel Oliveira will be one of its riders next year in the new satellite squad. The Japanese manufacturer is look - ing to bolster its ranks and close the gap to Ducati. "I think it's a little bit the shift on the focus that they are having at the moment to develop the current bike despite the rules changing in two years' time," said Oliveira of the signing. "Yamaha does not want to wait much longer to return to the top. After being involved with two different manufacturers, I feel my adapta - tion capability is quite high. I'm riding in a totally different way than I rode two years ago, and I think this can help for sure give feedback and get things going quicker." And he's not under any il - lusion that a tough task lies ahead. "I'm ready to work. I think it's going to be tough for sure. Because at the moment, maybe you don't see the results of their efforts yet, but I think in the near future, we'll be able to be back to challenge for impor - tant results." Starting at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Team Honda HRC Progres- sive features Progressive branding on its race bikes and rider uniforms, with additional branding placements to come. "We're excited to finally kick off this unique new sponsorship," said Bran- don Wilson, American Honda Manager of Racing & Advertising. "What I think makes it most interesting is that it's not just a traditional race-team sponsorship; it's a broader agreement, with an inter- company, cross-departmental aspect. It's fun to kick this collaboration off for the SMX Playoffs, but this is just the beginning." "Collaborating with Honda is a natural fit for Progressive, as we both share a commitment to innovation, safety and customer satisfaction," said Eric Doubler, Recreational Lines Business Leader of Progressive. "Together, we can explore initiatives that enhance the driving ex- perience and offer unparalleled value to our customers. We're excited to embark on this journey."
