Pedro Acosta (GG) shown signs of nerves over the weekend, crashing on a Thursday tire test and qualify- ing eighth. But he was handed fourth—the position he needed to seal the title—when long-time leader Kevin Zannoni (Openbank Aspar) crashed out on the pen- ultimate lap, handing victory to Mattia Casadei (LCR E-Team). Alessandro Zaccone (Tech3 E- Racing) and Eric Granado (LCR E-Team) were second and third. In race two, Oscar Gutierrez (Axxis-MSI) dashed Casadei's hopes of a double victory on home soil by stealing the lead at turn one on the final lap after fighting through from sixth on the grid. Again, Granado was Hector Garzo wrapped up the MotoE Championship.
