T he Canadian manufacturer Can-Am un- veiled its all-new electric motorcycles, the Can-Am Pulse and Can-Am Origin. The Pulse, says Can-Am, is a "nimble, naked motor - cycle designed for smart commuters and urban explorers." The Origin is a "dual sport motorcycle designed to take you through dirt, over asphalt and beyond," says Can-Am. Both models are of - fered in standard and premium packages. The Origin is said to have a 90-mile range in the city and 71 miles combined and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds. The Pulse has a range of 100 city miles and 80 combined. It ac - celerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds. Both motors are rated at 47 horsepower (35 kW). The standard Pulse has an MSRP of $13,999, and the premium model, the Pulse '73, is $15,999.
