Bridewell came out swinging
in Monday's race two. After 12
laps of racing, Bridewell suc-
cessfully defended his lead,
taking the checkers 0.219 of a
second ahead of Saturday's win-
ner Ryde. Jackson, Nesbitt and
Irwin went 3-4-5.
In the third and final race,
Ryde eventually took command
and won by more than half a
second over Bridewell. Jackson
was third, followed by Nesbitt
and Irwin.
"From what started off as a bit
of a struggle, it ended up being
pretty easy, which weekends like
that don't come very often but
when they do, you have to take
the most from them," said Ryde.
"I would've liked to have taken all
three wins, but when it's 12 laps,
everyone is pushing to the limit,
and the risk wasn't quite worth it
going wrong.
"The last race was probably
the best race I've done. I was
consistent and only made one
mistake in the 20 laps. I got as
many trophies as I could, and
was crowned Bennetts Rider of
the Round."
With three rounds still to go,
Bridewell is still leading the cham
-
pionship by 19 points over Ryde.
Irwin is holding down third 41
points back but only three points
ahead of Christian Iddon.
