good for the win until he was
swamped at the end of the back
straight, crossing the line third
behind West and O'Hara.
Drama followed as Fillmore
was prevented from joining the
podium celebrations due to his
race entry being allowed to race
but, according to MotoAmerica,
not being eligible for points or
trophies, much to the surprise of
his team in parc ferme.
That elevated Herfoss to third
behind race winner West and
runner-up O'Hara, with West
now only just leading the series
ahead of O'Hara, 147 to 143.
Jake Lewis is third on 113.

O'Hara (S&S/Indian Motorcycle)
had teammate Troy Herfoss
to contend with but still pulled
an important fourth for his title
challenge, Herfoss settling for
fifth, 5.5 seconds off the race-
winning pace.
Race two was one of the
races of the weekend, where
wildcard Chris Fillmore (HMC
KTM USA), who suffered a
clutch failure just off the start of
race one, had no such troubles.
