Lawrence is still second in overall points, 67 points clear of third place. "It was tough," said Lawrence. "I was starting to feel it at the end. Traction was getting away from me, and I kept having to find different lines for the scoop tire to get traction. Those sec - ond motos keep getting me, but we'll continue to fight." Aaron Plessinger is still very much in the mix as he logged another pair of thirds at Budds the championship. Somehow though, the Honda rider still has yet to earn himself an overall win this summer. Two holeshots at Budds Creek put the Honda rider up front in both motos and made life difficult for Sexton. Lawrence held on for first in race one but found himself getting run down in the second up to fourth and rode really well in that second moto. I nailed the start and was in a good position in the first moto, so it was a bummer of a day, but we'll take the positives. We're in one piece, so that's the main goal."
