li Tomac says he is go-
ing to compete in all four
rounds of the 2024 FIM
World Supercross Cham

pionship (WSX). Tomac
won the inaugural round of
WSX in 2022 in England as
a wild card entry and will
rejoin the series with the
CDR Yamaha Team. The
number-three raced to a
seventh overall in his return
to Pro Motocross.
"I'm excited to be rejoin

ing the WSX grid this year
and I'm hoping I can relive
some of the success I had
in Cardiff in 2022," Tomac
said. "I've not raced at any
of the venues on the calen
-
dar, or even raced in Aus-
tralia or Abu Dhabi before,
so it's going to be a new
experience. I've had some
pace in my riding this year
and I'm looking forward
to the season starting to
see what we can achieve,
hopefully picking up some
podium finishes, and to
also put on some amazing
races for the fans."
WSX's 2024 season gets
underway on October 26
at BC Place in Vancouver,
Canada, before a double
-
header at HBF Park in
Perth, Australia, on Novem-
ber 23-24, concluding at
Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi,
United Arab Emirates, on
December 4.

Webb Out For Pro Motocross

ooper Webb will forgo the
rest of the AMA Pro Mo-
tocross Championship due to
injury.
The Monster Energy Star Rac-
ing Yamaha Team rider re-aggra-
vated his thumb at the Unadilla
National, his first outdoor of the
season. Webb plans to return for
the SuperMotocross playoffs.
"Sitting out this weekend is
not the news I wanted to share,
but I am very thankful that the
scans all came back good and
just show a sprain of my thumb,"
Webb said before the Budds
Creek National. "I'm going to play
it smart, rest it a few days, and
focus on SMX and beyond."
