Race two was a much tighter affair, but it was still the same winner in Chapin, this time the margin of victory was 0.075 of a second over Yandel Medina (New York Safety Track Rac - ing Kawasaki) and Ryan Wolfe (Wolfe Racing Kawasaki) in a red-flagged race due to the arriv- ing rain and subsequent crashes down the field. The result sees Chapin sitting pretty in the title race on 200 from Medina's 138 and Logan Cunnison's 119. CN a monster highside for current class number one Hayden Gillim (RevZilla/ Motul/ Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson), his second crash in as many races following his off in the second Superbike race, brought out the red flag. With three-quarters of the race distance run, the result was called, thwarting Herfoss' chance at another win. Wyman thus clawed an extra five points back to lead the title by 14 points heading to COTA with Landers once again taking third. In the title race, Wyman leads Herfoss, with Gillim third, 93 points in arrears. There's two rounds and 100 points still to play for.
