Aimed at urban riders and commuters, the Next Rival
Tech sweatshirt is one of the offerings in the new co-
branded line of technical apparel from Alpinestars and
Aprilia. The main shell is made of knitted fabric and its
hood is detachable. Nucleon Flex Plus protectors are
at the shoulders and elbows, and abrasion-resistant
Aramid reinforces the shoulders, elbows and back.
The hoodie for motorcyclists has a pocket prepared
for adding a back protector, in addition to a waterproof
inner pocket for stowing smaller items.

Kriega has re-engineered its R25
backpack, which is Kriega's second
longest-established product. The updated
version has a 100 percent waterproof
main compartment, thanks to a roll-top
closure and a taped-seam removable
Drypack liner. The back panel has an
updated soft-feel panel, and reflective
detailing has been added for increased
visibility. Its carrying capacity is 20
liters (with room for a 17-inch laptop), not
including the outer zip pocket. It has loops
inside to hold either a back protector or
a hydration pack, and it uses Kriega's
Quadloc harness that transfers weight
from the shoulders to the chest and body.
