Loretta's since 2020, with Honda
rider Mikayla Nielson (4-2-2)
coming in for third.
"Obviously, I had really, really
and take the WMX title (Stall-
ings also won the title last year)
ahead of Yamaha's Jordan
Jarvis (2-4-1), who hadn't ridden
Aidan Zingg, who won the Su-
permini 2 (13-16) Championship
with his 1-3-1 scores. Zingg had
never won a championship or
even finished on the podium at
the Ranch before this year.
"My best moto finish was
probably sixth and my best over
-
all finish was maybe seventh
before this year," said Zingg. "So,
this is a massive step to win the
Supermini 2 class."
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna's
Vincent Wey, the son of former
pro motocrosser Nick Wey,
finished second overall in the

ship, while Carson Wood came in
third overall.
Former factory racer Andrew
Short (KTM) was awarded the
Vet Rider of the Year Award
partly based on his exciting win
in the Senior 40+ division, which
included a great battle with Munn
KTM's Mike Brown. Going into the
final moto, Short (1-2) and Brown
(2-1) were deadlocked.
"Brownie" grabbed the holeshot
and led the event until the final
lap, when "Shorty" made a pass
at the finish line to clinch the title.
In fact, it was so close that the
scoring clock at the finish read all
zeros (0.000) and the race was
double-checked and decided by
0.015 of a second. Brownie was
second with former Motocross
and Supercross Champion Jeff
Emig (Husqvarna) in third.
Brown (KTM) got redemption
in the Masters 50+ class, top
-
ping Emig and Gregory Pamart
(Kawasaki) with a 1-1-1 perfor-
mance for the win.
