Racing) was forced to retire
early after colliding with Angel
Piqueras' bike on lap two. Daniel

Tech3) also led at one point be

fore Ortola attempted to break
away in the
final six laps.
In the last two laps, the
elbows were out in a frantic
scramble. Veijer led at the start
of the final lap, but Alonso
executed a brilliant move at
Brooklands to take second. Or

tola reclaimed the lead at Copse
and
fended off Alonso down the
Birthday boy Ivan Ortola (48)
held on for the Moto3 win by
the skin of his teeth.
