flared up my ankle, so that moto
was a bit of a grind. I rode with
my heart, left it all out there
and was able to salvage some

He gritted out 24 points on
the day, which was enough to
keep his teammate, Shimoda,
from moving ahead of him.

dealing with a painful ankle
injury that he suffered at the
previous round a week earlier.
He also re-aggravated the injury
when he went down in the sec
